Every second Monday of the month (now INCLUDING bank holidays!), starting on Monday 12th January 2009. It's at the same venue as for 'SoundsQueer 1'(see below), and the follow-up sessions in Nov and Dec 2008: West Norwood, London SE27, 7-10pm. The hall is a short walk from West Norwood train station. Adjacent to the hall is a kitchen and outdoor area. Please contact us for the full address and any further details or enquiries.
Percussion instruments will be available. Feel free to bring amplification if you require it. SoundsQueer is a not-for-profit project that is currently unfunded. To cover administration and travel costs a donation of between £3-£8 per workshop would be appreciated, depending on your income, though participation is not dependant on funds; people with empty pockets welcome!!! Maybe bring some food to share instead, or offer a warm-up exercise!
The venue is wonderful, but currently not wheel-chair accessible - apologies for that.
